Former NBA All-Star Michael Finley is putting his front-office career on hold in hopes of extending his playing career, according to sources with knowledge of his plans.

Michael Finley played the best basketball of his NBA career with the Dallas Mavericks. During his stint with the team, he had his fair share of epic battles with Tim Duncan and the San Antonio Spurs.

Finley's first hard play in the NBA was courtesy of Barkley. In his senior year at Wisconsin, "Fin Dawg" averaged 20.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, four assists and 1.9 steals per game.
