EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - No. 14 Michigan State used a late run in the second half to pull away from No. 13 Purdue en route to a 75-66 win at the Breslin Center on Tuesday night.

In what is definitely one of their biggest, and most important wins, of the season, Michigan State basketball was able to thwart their long-time nemeses, No. 14 Purdue, in a slugfest, 75 to 66. Even though the Spartans won by nine, this was a game that never felt comfortable for MSU, who had to earn a win against their pesky rivals.
