MONTREAL, Oct. 25.—Over a score wounded, one fatally, is the result of a conflict between the militia and the striking mill hands at Valleyfield, Quebec.

Quebec AM's Julia Caron visited one of those mills, the Montreal Cotton Company in Valleyfield, Quebec. Christian Fortin works with MUSO, which works to preserve the history of that mill.

One of Scotland's worst mining disasters has been marked in Fife, 75 years after the tragedy. A total of 35 men lost their lives in the explosion at the Valleyfield pit, near Dunfermline.
