Transport giant FirstGroup said it has secured a deal with rolling stock company Eversholt Rail in relation to its planned new route.

FirstGroup will operate four return services a day on the new West Coast Main Line route under its Lumo brand.

Drivers travelling in both directions of the M1 were held up for half an hour following a multi-vehicle collision.
