Students will remain as the “warriors,” but the mascot and logo no longer depict Kamehameha — the first king of Hawaii.

Aloha has had its King Kamehameha logo since the '60s. Starting this school year the Warriors will have a new look.

The Mascot Hall of Fame is closing in Whiting but the South Shore Convention and Visitors Bureau hopes to keep it in Northwest Indiana.
