BOISE, Idaho — Idaho Fish and Game has reopened Horsethief Reservoir Campground for day use, as of Tuesday, Sept. 17. The campground was closed on Aug. 16, after the Snag Fire broke out.

Ochoco Reservoir is six miles east of Prineville and just under an hour’s drive from downtown Bend. It can be accessed along Highway 26 and via its campgrounds.
