Michael Palin embarks on a 2000km journey across Nigeria. Known as the Giant of Africa, within 50 years, Nigeria will be the third most populated country in the world after India and China.

Palin has also travelled to Brazil, the Sahara, Nigeria, and other destinations, for his travel documentaries. The presenter and Gibbins had met on a beach in Suffolk when they were teenagers.
