A Tracy man was booked on charges including attempted murder Saturday night for allegedly assaulting three men outside the Palladium Nightclub in downtown Modesto.

A Modesto bar owner on Tuesday persuaded Stanislaus County leaders to let him open a nightclub in south Modesto, despite fervent opposition from worried neighbors.
