Parsons Landing Campground on Catalina Island, which is off of Southern California’s coast, requires its visitors to first take a seven-mile hike to reach it, according to the Matador Network.

From Parsons Landing Campground, head west toward Two Harbors to the point where the Boushay Trail (an old fire road) takes off, up-slope to the south.
