Since arriving in Indiana ahead of the trade deadline last season, Siakam has raised the Pacers’ floor — and their ceiling.

The NBA Playoffs continue tonight in the Eastern Conference Finals, as the New York Knicks host the Indiana Pacers for Game 2 at MSG.

After a solid but unspectacular Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, Pascal Siakam came to play in Game 2. The forward helped lead the Pacers out to an early 10-point lead as the primary scorer for Indiana in the first half.

Jalen Brunson found Josh Hart to cut Indiana's lead to one with 14.2 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter. Brunson then fouled Pacers guard Aaron Nesmith, who knocked down two free throws before Brunson missed a deep 3-pointer resulting in a Myles Turner rebound and two more Indiana free throw makes.

Siakam's 39 points were a career-playoff high as the veteran forward has been a steady presence on the court and in the locker room.

As the Indiana Pacers beat the New York Knicks in Game 2, 114-109, to take a 2-0 series lead, Friday night was highlighted by the impeccable performance from star Pascal Siakam. With Siakam's special performance for the Pacers, he would speak after the game about what led to the outing, and it wasn't the questionable defense from their opponents.
