SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — A dead bat has tested positive for rabies in Savannah, officials announced Tuesday. The bat was found on Friday under a bed in a home near East Duffy Street.

The individuals who were staying in the room are now contacting their medical providers for rabies post-exposure treatment.
