The Trout and Buck fires have been burning across thousands of acres of land in southwest New Mexico since last week.

The Seven Springs Fire is 350 acres in size, located south of Mescalero and north of Cloudcroft, and is 0% contained.

The Trout Fire is now burning 38,682 acres north of Silver City. Officials say that the fire is currently 0% contained.
