Scores of buildings across Seattle are waiting to be demolished. A new effort brings together artists, business owners and the city to cover them with murals.

The “Ocean Guardians in Chumash Territory” mural was created by veteran muralist and environmental activist Emiliano Campobello with help from every single one of Adams’s more than 500 students.
