EAST FALLOWFIELD — Many recall the late Anthony Mallozzi as a principal who had cared for his students and loved the Coatesville district.Mallozzi, 41, died at his residence on Wednesday, June 5.

The cost: The low bid for the new elementary school at the South Brandywine site is $52.95 million, Matt Kelly of ICS said, which is under the $61.15 million that was budgeted.

The demolition of South Brandywine Middle School is in progress. Workers will build a new elementary school on the site. Renovations are also scheduled for the Scott 6th Grade Center.
