Yankees promoting red-hot prospect Spencer Jones to Triple-A
The outfielder received a promotion to Triple-A, the Yankees announced. Jones is considered the second-best prospect in the club’s farm system by MLB.com. “The size stands out,” said Aaron Boone, who managed Jones in big league camp the past two springs. On Friday, Jones homered in his first Triple-A at-bat.
