The “spoiled food” that sickened passengers on a Delta Air Lines flight and forced an emergency landing in New York City was covered in black mold, sources told The Post Wednesday.

The Delta flight heading from Detroit to Amsterdam made an emergency landing in NYC after a portion of in-flight meals were discovered to be spoiled.

One employee reported the food had made kids sick while another said there was no cleaning supplies. The child care center's license has since been suspended.
