The National Weather Service said an odd pattern is to blame for all the heavy, seemingly random rain in Evansville the last few days.

Scott Garey has lived in his home for over 20 years; he says the street floods every time it rains, but this most recent rain, was the worst he’d seen, saying the water got up to waist level.
