The club completed all of its championship singles events over the weekend, with the greens running well over the two days. Only six entries were received for the senior men’s singles.

Raglan Bowling Club has used its share of Waikato District Council’s Better Off Funding allocation to enhance its facilities by installing a new irrigation system to upkeep its greens.

The rain was annoying all day, but the all-weather green proved itself again, as play did not have to be suspended. Four games of 12 ends each, with a 90-minute time limit, were completed.
