Atlantic Park Surf, a wave pool operation backed by music mogul Pharrell Williams, is set to open soon in Virginia Beach, VA.

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Visitors can catch some waves later this summer at Atlantic Park's 2.67-acre surf lagoon, which was recently filled, according to a release from project organizers.

The surf park will cater to both beginners and advanced surfers, as well as every level in between. The new lagoon builds on Virginia Beach's rich history of being the epicenter of East Coast surfing.
