With the NHL offseason fast approaching and Mitch Marner on track to become the best unrestricted free agent available on July 1, speculation around the Toronto Maple Leafs forward’s next team has accelerated.

One writer suggested four players on a rebuilding Western Conference team who the Lakers may be able to target in a potential trade.

With the Dallas Stars facing elimination in Game 5 of the Western Conference Final, goaltender Jake Oettinger surrendered two goals on the Edmonton Oilers' first two shots of the contest. As a result, Stars coach Pete DeBoer made the decision to pull Oettinger just 7:09 into the game in favor of backup Casey DeSmith.
