Bailey Zappe could become the 40th quarterback to start for the Browns since 1999 if he gets the nod Saturday in Baltimore. Coach Kevin Stefanski said Tuesday on a video conference that he could play both Dorian Thompson-Robinson and Zappe in the season finale Saturday at 4:30 against the 11-5 Ravens.

Zappe joined the Browns in October, signed off the Chiefs’ practice squad. A Patriots fourth-round pick in 2022, Zappe has appeared in 14 career games with eight starts. He’s completed 63.2 percent of his passes for 2,053 yards with 11 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
