A dense fog advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Friday at 8:37 a.m. EST in effect until 10 a.m. EST for Cass, St. Joseph, Branch, Hillsdale and Berrien counties.

A Dense Fog Advisory has been issued until 10 a.m. for Butler, Darke, Mercer, and Preble counties in Ohio. It also includes Union and Wayne counties in Indiana. Parts of the region are dealing with dense fog and scattered showers Friday morning.

CHICAGO (CBS) — Heavy rain moves into the Chicago area Friday morning. A dense fog advisory is in effect until 9 a.m. Commuters can expect decreased visibility. The bulk of the rain will move through the area between 8 a.m. and noon. A flood watch iss posted until 3 p.m. as some areas may pick up as much as 1.5" of rain.
