After a successful No Kings Day rally in McLean, organizers are planning a follow up event on July 17 at McLean Central Park.

Juneteenth is a federal holiday marking the day in 1865 when word reached the last enslaved people in Texas that the Civil War had ended.

Details remain limited; however, Fairfax County police said the shooting took place around 4 a.m. in the 900 block of Dolley Madison Boulevard.

Around 4 a.m., officers went to the 900 block of Dolley Madison Boulevard to help CIA authorities with traffic control following the shooting on CIA property. The shooting was not deadly, FCPD said.
