The Los Angeles Rams rookie defensive end/linebacker, talking to the Los Angeles Times, said that despite growing up in Berwick, Pa. and going to high school at Central Columbia, is no fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, who his team plays on Sunday in the NFC Divisional Round.

Eagles players reacted Friday to the comments that Los Angeles Rams edge rusher Jared Verse made about Philadelphia fans.

It is completely unremarkable that someone who grew up in Berwick like Verse wouldn’t like or would feel no connection to the Eagles.
