A report of suspicious circumstances in a Granite Bay neighborhood on Monday morning has developed into a double homicide investigation, according to the Placer County Sheriff’s Office. Around 8 a.m.,

The Placer County Sheriff's Office identified the man arrested after deputies found two people dead inside a Granite Bay home.Josef Meinzer, 36, is believed to have been behind the homicides, the sheriff's office said.

Deputies were called just after 8 a.m. to Lou Place and Oak Leaf Way after a caller reported “suspicious circumstances.”
