There’s a change coming to the Pro version of the iPhone 17, and it looks downright peculiar, if the latest leak is correct.

For £234, you can currently pick up a 128GB version of the iPhone 12 Pro in a fair condition - that beats out even Wowcher, which is offering the same model at £5 more expensive.

The iPhone 12 Pro is Apple’s first 5G model. Meanwhile, Amazon is selling a brand new 5G Galaxy A16 mobile for £144.11. It has a memory space of 128GB and a screen measuring 6.7 inches.

With this approach, we expect the ‘new’ iPhone price won’t be a one-off reaction in a year of economic uncertainty and tariffs, but a readjustment of the baseline for the cost of the iPhone.
