Demonstrators have taken to the streets across multiple states on Thursday to protest President Donald Trump’s Administration in a day of action honoring the late civil rights icon Rep. John Lewis, with more events planned across the country in the evening.

Lewis' influence and philosophy to engage in "good trouble, necessary trouble," is the backbone of the latest round of nationwide protests against President Donald Trump's administration, called Good Trouble Lives On.

Protesters gathered in parts of Maryland on Thursday to commemorate the life of civil rights activist John Lewis and to protest actions and policies from the Trump administration.
