Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer gave an update on the Crimson Tide's starting quarterback outlook at SEC media days.

Speaking Wednesday at SEC Media Days in Atlanta, the second-year Alabama head coach addressed the Crimson Tide’s ongoing quarterback battle, offering early impressions of returning veteran Ty Simpson, as well as young talents Keelon Russell and Austin Mack.

Alabama football will need to replace some production in the pass rush this season. The team’s two leading sack leaders, linebacker Jihaad Campbell and Que Robinson are both off to the NFL.
