Newcastle Art Gallery and Powerhouse are the winners of program-altering major gifts by the Mordant and Medich families.

"Aloha Vaqueros" runs through Sept. 1, with a July 10 painting workshop, National Day of the Cowboy event and a Hawaiian Hoedown.
