Rutherford County Schools spokesman James Evans confirmed that three Blackman High students were involved in a fatal crash Tuesday.

A Rutherford County student died and three others were injured in a Tuesday morning crash that took place in Murfreesboro, according to officials.

One high school student, identified as a 14-year-old teenager, was killed in the Veterans Parkway crash, Murfreesboro Police Department reports. Three other individuals involved were treated for non-life threatening injuries. Now, Murfreesboro police are investigating if speed was a contributing factor in the deadly crash.
