A suspected tornado hit Chesterfield, Missouri, on Wednesday afternoon, after the National Weather Service (NWS) issued a warning for St. Louis and much of the surrounding area. The NWS earlier warned that a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Bridgeton and was moving northeast at a speed of 20 mph.

Missouri resident, Andy Drew, captured this eerie storm cloud circulating in skies as areas are hit by tornado warnings. A tornado warning was issued for parts of Lafayette and Ray counties in Missouri after a severe storm showing rotation was detected near Henrietta.
