LONDON, UK — A cargo ship hit a tanker carrying jet fuel off the coast of eastern England Monday, setting both vessels on fire and triggering a major rescue operation, emergency services said.

A Portuguese-flagged container ship collided with the U.S.-flagged oil tanker while it was anchored in the North Sea off England's eastern coast, according to ABC News.
