Morten Harket has revealed he has Parkinson’s disease. The singer of a-ha, the band behind the 1985 hit and innovatively animated music video “Take On Me, ” shared the news during an interview with the group’s biographer.

The singer said, while he had “no problem accepting the diagnosis,” he's uncertain about whether he'll be able to perform live in the future.

Harket, best known for his band’s infectious 1985 synth-pop hit “Take on Me,” revealed his illness in an interview on a-ha’s website.
