Nearly all of the legend’s principals, Andromeda, Perseus, Cepheus, Cassiopeia, Pegasus and even Cetus, the villain of the story, were all rewarded with places in the starry sky.

As soon as Andromeda and Perseus arrived home, wedding bells clanged. But the love story is a short one. Perseus lost a sword fight — and his life — a few years later.
