Race Across the World 2025 reached its thrilling conclusion with mother and son, Caroline and Tom, becoming the first pair to reach the final checkpoint in Kanniyakumari and claim the £20,000 prize.

Race Across The World isn’t a public vote; the most deserving winner isn’t even a matter of opinion. The winner is the team who gets to the finish line first.

Last year’s winner Owen Wood also put his prize money towards furthering his world travels, which he’s been documenting on his Instagram ever since. Meanwhile, Caroline added that the money could also be used to help her son open up a business he’s starting, which is inspired by their time spent travelling through India together.
