A 7.3 magnitude earthquake has triggered a tsunami advisory along a 700-mile stretch of Alaska’s sparsely populated southern coast. The advisory affects areas from southwest of Homer to Unimak Pass, including towns like Kodiak and King Cove. The National Weather Service in the Bay Area says there is no risk of a tsunami in California.
