Lara Croft will be back for another go-round. Netflix has renewed Tomb Raider: The Legend Of Lara Croft for a second season, the streamer announced today. See a first-look photo above. The renewal comes on the heels of the October 10 release of Season 1 of the anime series.

Oct. 25 (UPI) -- Netflix announced that its Tomb Raider anime series will get a second season. Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft offers viewers a backstory for the 1996 video game character. Croft has been portrayed in subsequent movies by Angelina Jolie and Alicia Vikander. Hayley Atwell voices the animated character on Netflix.

The Legend of Lara Croft is officially on the way. Fans were confident there would be, given that the series had reportedly been given a two-season order back in 2023, but nothing's set in stone in the world of streaming these days.

Congratulations are in order for Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft! Netflix 's animated adaptation of the iconic video game series has successfully managed to appease the streaming service gods and will be returning for a second season (not that I'm extremely bitter about Kaos' cancellation or anything) at some unspecified future point.
