Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said the team wanted to stay away from having Tommy Edman play center field on back-to-back days while being mindful of his ankle, which is why he started at second base with Hyeseong Kim in center field in Monday's loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The Dodgers have already played at an elite level to start the year, currently holding the best record in the National League at 28-15. However, only 0.5 games ahead in the National League West, the Dodgers will need to get going at a different pace if they want to win the division with ease.
