"New Ground" is the tenth episode of the fifth season of the American science fiction television series Star Trek: The Next Generation. Set in the 24th century, the series follows the adventures of the Starfleet crew of the Federation starship Enterprise-D.

Dr Ja'Dar (Richard McGonagle) is running the experiment. The planet will generate Soliton waves in the direction of a test ship. The Enterprise will have to be positioned within 20 Kms of the test ship to receive telemetry data.

Nov 1, 2024 · While the U.S.S.
