Carroll offers twelve residence hall options to suit a variety of needs and budgets, including undergraduate and graduate housing. Traditional halls typically serve as home to incoming and first-year students although they are available to all students as a living option.

Traditional halls feature mostly double rooms and a limited number of triple rooms, common area bathrooms/kitchens and tiled floors. Standard furnishings include XL twin bed frame and mattress, desk, chair, dresser, hutch and bookcase. Laundry services are included as part of the housing fees and machines are provided in each housing facility.

Prairie Hall is a co-ed, three-story residential community housing 128 residents in four or five-bedroom suites. Each unit has private bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living area and kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator.
