Jun 30, 2022 · The leopard 2, 2a4 and 2a5 all have a horrendous weakspot. Above the tracks, next to the ufp, there is a 20mm plate. Due to it being just 20mm, about every gun it era 3 can overmatch it. This plate IS A HITBOX. If anything hits it, you're guaranteed to lose hitpoints. This completely ruins the leopard 2a4 and 2a5's hull armor.

Jan 9, 2025 · Compared to other 12.0 tanks the 2A6 and 2A5 should be 11.7 or 11.3, they are outclassed by Strvs and 2A7s. Nearly all 12.0 vehicles have something in common, decent armor and gen 3 thermals, which the 2A5 and A6 lack. We need more armored Leopards for Germany to replace the old dogs, TVM, 2A6EX, 2A7A, etc.
