Nov 27, 2018 · Anxiously awaiting the first wave of Honors College notifications this week! I was just looking at last year’s posts and the first post was somebody in North Carolina on 12/19. The notifications were sent in regular mail and the envelope was the same size as the YES one for their acceptance.

Aug 11, 2024 · Our daughter is a freshman Neuroscience major (pre-med) in the Honors College. I wouldn’t describe her as introverted, but given the size of her high school in NJ (less than 300 kids in graduating class) and the size of Carolina, I highly recommended she live in the Honors Residence. Best decision!

Dec 20, 2016 · If you received your Honors College acceptance in December, you will probably receive at least the McKissick Scholarship which is In-State Tuition plus $2,000/year. Most likely, you will receive the Cooper Scholarship which is In-State Tuition plus $4,000/year.

Dec 17, 2024 · Last year (per common data set) the 75%ile was 32 ACT, so I’m wondering if everyone with 32 or below will be deferred 🫤 I’m trying to prepare for that My DD has a 31 but I’m not sure that will be considered “above average” even tho it technically is. The GPAs are hard to compare on CC with all of the various schools and weights
