St. Margaret Mary Catholic School is part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orlando and is accredited through the Florida Catholic Conference. The school is also a member of the National Catholic Education Association, the National Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, and is a nationally recognized Blue Ribbon School.

St. Margaret Mary provides a well-rounded physical education program from kindergarten through eighth grades that focuses on developing healthy, active habits and an understanding of team sports and sportsmanship.

In 1954, with the assistance of the Sisters of Christian Charity, St. Margaret Mary Catholic School began with five lay teachers and three sisters teaching 252 students in kindergarten through 6th grade.

New board members receive orientation from the Diocese of Orlando Office of Schools. The board meets once a month with the principal, assistant principal and pastor to discuss, promote and recommend matters of importance in the operation of the school.
