Aug 10, 2023 · Ok, the Menards kits can give you a an idea of what different types, sizes, styles will run you. The last time I looked at one with what the total costs would be, it was about 3X what the kit was. That was about 5yrs ago, but the ratios should be similar. There can be a lot of hard costs based on site conditions and utility availability.

Aug 9, 2023 · Hey there, can any of you menards experts share some insights regarding how clearance and close outs occur at the stores, are there multiple clearance sections in the store? (I’ve only seen a small section by the indoor area for panel goods etc.).

Feb 8, 2021 · Menards will provide you with the training. The training will take a few hours, and it may take you a week or two to get used to the forklift. Working in the yard is probably one of the best jobs you will have in your younger years, honestly.

After extensive research, went with Menards Klearview cabinets, costing 10K. Had nothing come out of the box like that. Looks like your boxes are a quality escape or shipping damage Had one drawer kit that suffered shipping damage, but that was it.

Menards doesn’t actually have high margins on a lot of items (sometimes less than 30% on things like solar lights, or barely anything on stuff like wire), unlike other stores (some items we do have large margins, wall plates and fasteners, I’m looking at you).

Jun 18, 2023 · Menards wins the lumber thing with the drive-in lumber yard, but Home Depot has the brand names and I like the aisle width and shelving. I never connected with Lowes. I go to Menards sometimes as it is closest to my office building, but if they were all lined up together I would choose Home Depot first every time.
