World Expo 2025 will be held in Osaka, Kansai, Japan! Designing Future Society for Our Lives.

The site for the Expo is located in Yumeshima, an artificial island located on the waterfront in Osaka that commands a beautiful view of scenery of the Seto Inland Sea. The venue reflects the vision of future society through its key concept of decentralisation.

The main theme of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan is ‘Designing Future Society for Our Lives’. Three key sub-themes have been set out to express this more concretely: Saving Lives, Empowering Lives and Connecting Lives.

2025年の万博、日本、大阪・関西で開催！テーマは「いのち輝く未来社会のデザイン」。

This project aims to create relationships with a variety of worlds and totally transform what it means to learn, play, create, and “live”, not only during the Expo but before and after it.

You can find information here about transfer routes and travel times when traveling from Kansai International Airport or JR Shin-Osaka Station to the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai site by the Osaka Metro Chuo Line, which is a direct train connection to the site.
