Jan 28, 2021 · If it shows engine data pages, it will show all available info from the Suzuki. Make sure that they install the version 3.5.4 Suzuki interface cable. Alternatively, if you get them to install the new Suzuki Connect interface cable, then all the fault codes and service reminders will show on the Lowrance screen.

Dec 14, 2019 · The new Suzuki SMG4 gauge that you have connects directly to the engine. NO INTERFACE CABLE or NMEA2000 network is required for the connection to the engine. All you need to do to get fuel economy on the new gauge is to add an extra T piece to your existing NMEA2000 network and run a NMEA2000 drop cable from the Suzuki gauge to the T.

Apr 16, 2023 · SMG4 incorporates Suzuki’s troll mode feature that allows the engine rpm to be changed in 50rmp increments from 700rpm to a max of 1200rpm. A separate troll mode switch is no longer required. To activate troll mode, put the engine in gear at idle speed, and press and hold the menu button until it beeps and troll mode activates.

Aug 4, 2021 · I have a 2020 suzuki df250 eu-model with a SMG4 34000-96L30 display. I have a nmea 2000 backbone were i have the chartplotter, gps antenna and the SMG4 connected. When i power up the systems the Suzuki display will find the gps position and show the fuel economy but the plotter won´t receive any position or data.

Jul 29, 2016 · That, in a nutshell, is why I bought the Suzuki 4" SMIS Multi-function Gauge. Really, I bought it just to calibrate my fuel flow. Once the calibrations are done, the SMIS gauge and the Garmin read exactly the same information and become redundant. The Suzuki SMIS gauge, by the way, is a Lowrance LMF-400 with the Suzuki badge on it.
